Andrés and Diana were born in '76, respectively, in Valparaíso (Chile) and Madrid (Spain). Andrés was studying Art and Diana was working as a photo reporter, but one day, each one for his own reasons, entered the world of puppetry. Both learned by themselves, and when they met, in 2003, decided together to become professional puppeteers. So Periplo was born, a travelling fellowship (as the name might suggest), dedicated to develop street theatre between Europe and America.
The company Periplo, of string puppets, is specialized in musical shows. Their puppets are realistic, as living sculptures attempting to be as human as possible in the unreal world of puppets.
